There are a couple possible answers to that one: 1 that at some point in
the lives of the cars, someone used ATF which then started the process of
leaking and hence the necessary replacement of said parts. 2. That you
are right, that there is just a problem iwth the systems themselves and
will always leak eventually anyway...only problem with that is that
basially, you could put atf in there, have it leak almost immediately, or
you could put pentosin in there and have it leak every 10-15 years.
Which would you rather have???
I mean, considering the work and pressures that are always present in
these hydraulic systems, its amazing they work for so long as is....
