Strange? Wonderful!
A _lot_ of the ideas have since made their way into series production.
My favourite feature was the brake pad change system. The discs were
inboard and easily accessible from above in the engine compartment.
Pad changing was (literally) a five minute job, including a four minute
coffee break.
