parts interchange
Ref: Your note of Mon, 15 Nov 1999 00:22:02 -0800 (attached)
Dave and Erik, donno about the rears for sure, but the
fronts definitely have a different ABS sensor mounting.
I'd suspect the rears would match. You could hack it
though. I ran the front strut (and hub thereby) from an
'89 200 out to Pike's Peak (from NY) a coupla' years ago
using thick grease to hold the sensor in (thanks Pete!).
The old has a bracket and a bolt into the sensor, the new
is a fingered insert with a friction fit. This is the
fronts though, YMMV.... --Gary

I believe you will find that the hubs are different as the 89 200tq has an
axle bolt while the 87 has teh axle nut, I have not looked that close but I
have disassembled an 89 200 TQ that I bought for the MC and also have an 87
5kt (no q) which was also bought for the MC (long story as to how I got
both).
