I do have a an oil pressure gauge on the car and hi rpm it reads 5 bar solid
at idle when the oil is at 100 deg or above I have 2 bar, maybe switching to
a slightly heavier oil 10w40 synthetic instead of the 5w40 I use at the
moment will have a similar effect. Who knows, I have no probs at the moment.

It happens because the oil pump starts sucking froth, and not oil. Too much
air to maintain correct pressure.
