There is not a lot you can do to "remedy" a turbo other than to replace it.
If it's not broken now (i.e., makes good boost), don't worry about it.
Use a good oil in your engine, and change the filter.

The injector cooling fan is not to protect the injector from damage,
per se. It's there to keep the fuel lines and injector cool to avoid
vapor lock (hard hot starting). The injector cooling fan typically
don't run at all until after engine shut-off.

Yes, if the underhood temperature reaches a certain level (there is
an injector cooling fan thermoswitch nearby that controls this), see above.

I never priced a new one, but I suspect that you can probably pull a
good used one from a salvage yard for cheap. These injector cooling fans
are not high-use items (i.e., they typically operate only for less than
one minute at a time, for a few cycles, and usually only after shut-off,
so they don't get that much wear)...

If you are fanatic and want to do things "right" (the factory way), then
yes.

Hehe, that's funny. Other cars the same class as Audi are just as
complicated, and the type 44 Audi like yours does have a few problems,
but from your list it didn't seem too bad at all. Enjoy the car.
