Asymmetric placement of logos was a '70s look. Central placement
is the more modern look. While on the front of the car, Audi has
always had the 4-rings in the middle, the original 2-spoke one-bar
(ugly) steering wheel on my 80 4000 had the 4-ring logo on the lower
right bottom on the bar. Audi changed the steering wheel desgn and
moved the rings to the middle in later models.
