Re: hackers

I already checked 'em out:

Brook Tree Auto Sales, Inc.
742 South Franklin Street
Holbrook , MA 02343
781-767-2412

Brooktree Auto Sales, Inc. specializes in used auto sales and service.
The business was established and incorporated in Massachusetts in 1972.
Mr. Kevin Smith is the Owner of the business. Mr. Dennis Shea is the
Salesman.
Any questions or problems should be directed to the attention of Mr. Smith.
Our file experience shows that this company has an unsatisfactory record
with the Bureau.
Specifically, our records show a pattern of no response to customer
complaints
brought to its attention by the Bureau.

.....so the BBB can't wake these guys up

on top of that, I had a phone conversation with a consumer affairs dude, and
his bottom
line regarding the blower motor repair is that: 'if you were actually paying
for the repair,
you'd probably have a case, but the lemon law used car warantee is so vague
that as
long as they fix the problem, they're off the hook....the requirements for
'paid-for' auto
repairs are much tighter'

I'm going to contact the consumer affairs office regarding the wheel
bearings because
they invoiced work that can't be performed on my car: the wheel bearings on
a
1992 100CSQW can't be repacked because they're sealed units.......they're
destroyed
upon removal.....and they said that they re-packed 'em ( information
provided by the
honorable frank bauer)

stay tuned

Tom
