Well Alek I got to say if your real dam good the finger test may prove successful, but I got to go with the 1.5 volt test my self, it's more positive (dont take that the wrong way). It's a good way to test with a battery cell if your running passive on a low pass. It wont hurt the coils and you can compensate for phase shift of the crossovers, since a 6 dB/octave slope will shift your phase by 90`, a 12 dB/octave will shift by 180` and so on. So if your running 12 dB/oct you might want to have them hooked out of phase which will actually bring them in phase, so testing the woofer system intact will actually tell you more than testing with out the Xover.Glad to see there still are some people that enjoy passive.
