    Well it is the circular cover on the passenger's side of the trans.  It
is held in with a big circlip and rests very close to the downpipe.  I
assume what you mentioned has happened to my sealing o-ring.  Probably has
lead to the inner seals going bad too.  Thus my late shifting problem since
the pressures are out of wack.  I assume the trans works so that the higher
the rpm's the more pressure in the trans.  In conjungtion with the throttle
cable the trans then shifts when the pressure reaches a certain level tjat
causes the millions of springs and valves to do their thing.  Low system
pressure means late shift right?
