Being unable to lurk past this one, I'll offer this to you.
A few years ago, I had a batch of MC wastegate springs made
by a local spring company. I've still got about 15 or 20
left if someone's in need.
These springs alone in the MC wastegate will give you about
1.6 or 1.7 bar boost instead of the stock 1.3 bar. To get this
you have to bypass the overboost control from the ECU.
For $20 I'll send you a spring and instructions on installation,
and instructions on the one-wire bypass for the overboost limit.
This is nothing fancy, but it helps and it's pretty much at my
cost for the spring, packaging, and shipping. Send me an email
with your postal address.
My appologies to the list for what some may consider a commercial
message, but I'm really just trying to help build faster Audis!
