Re: LI, NY alignment shop WARNING
I had a similar experience with them awhile back. When I was in Hight School
my first car was a pristine 1975 Chrysler Newport (no comments, my father was
a Chrysler nut before he got into Audi's) . Well, the car was eating front
tires at an alarming rate so I took it to Fosters to get an alignment. Three
weeks later I noticed that the tires that I had just put on it where wearing
heavily on the inside. I took a look at the front end and I noticed that the
front bushings where shot. These guys aligned the car with basically no
front bushing in there. I took the car back and asked them about this and
they proceeded to tell me that the bushing must have failed in the last three
weeks. Well, I have never used them since. I have heard from other people
that they have screwed some stuff up. I not use Tyrollean Moters in
Northport to do my Alignments. Wally there is a great guy and a Q owner.
Last time I saw him he had a very pretty V8. Good luck out there.
Cheers,
Jim Hahn
