The mirrors on your car are spring mounted and hinged so they can bend
backwards and forwards. Your mirror frame may have been knocked out of the
pivot points by the impact. You can pop it back into the pivots by hand. If
the mirror frame is bent, it will not sit square in the mount and you will
have to replace the mirror.
