Hi Dan,
Go to a good hardware store and get a screw extractor kit or buy the correct
size for the bolt in question. The extractor, or kit, will specify the
correct drill bit, so be sure to buy one or that you already have one.
Drill a hole logitudinally through the top of the bolt deep enough to get
the extractor in, put the extractor in a square tool holder, and start
turning it counter clockwise, (for a right hand or clockwise thread). When
the extractor bottoms out, it should have enough purchase to screw the bolt
out. Don't even ask about left hand or counter clockwise threaded bolts.
