I am glad you described it so clearly. I have the very same problem
("Brrrrttttt" in the last half second of
a stop) for a month or so, but it happens at every stop, no exception. I
asked my mechanic to check it out, and he said that ABS sensor on the front
left wheel is corroded (thanks to slushy and salty winter driving in
Toronto ).
He tried to clean it, but actually made it worse. The "Brrrrttttt" lasts
longer and is more pronounced now.
I hope someone has an answer for that. Thanks in advance.
I have another problem. My accelerator pedal has a different feeling now,
compare to what it was before . It is harder, means I have to press on it
harder to keep going or accelerate. This usually becomes evident after 15-20
min of driving. My mechanic laughed it off, claiming that my foot gets
tired. Yeah, right.
Does anybody recognize the problem? I will appreciate a help.
Thanks,
Efraim
