Militec in an Auto Trans? Best diff fluid?

Checking in the archives and saw that there was some dislike for the
Militec in the autobox. I have a slight late shift problem from 2nd to 3rd.
Sometimes at low speeds it takes an extra second for the shift to happen. I
have also seen that Militec is recommended by some. S. Babbar seems as if
you don't particularly like the Militec from your experience.
I recently did a super speedy ATF change before my 750 mile weekend. I
emptied as much as possible without taking the pan off fully. I measured
the amount I removed and added that exact amount of Castrol Synth Dexron.
It now seems like if the engine is warmed more than 3 minutes there is too
much ATF in there. Although shifting has been better with the fresh ATF.
It's time to replace the gasket, filter, and ATF. I am thinking that
I'll use Castrol Synth ATF with 4oz. of Militec mixed into the ATF before it
goes into the trans. Is this a good idea? I know auto trans have friction
parts in them and Militec removes all the friction, and it seems as if it
works very well. I would also add Militec to fresh Redline diff fluid, that
good too? What is the best in your opinions?

Thanks!
