Re: New engine started! (Was:K-Jet Problem)

Yeah, it's a US car. I'm in Maryland.

I got the SS hoses from Summit Racing. They're made by Spectre.

I figured I could get the car in running shape (to take it to exhaust shop)
by running it in open loop but this isn't gonna be the case I can see.
Fortunately I already had a nut welded on the 4kq downpipe (next to CO take
off tube) for an OXS.

Today the car didn't start no matter how hard I tried. Pulled an injector
again and guess what... no spray. Had to re adjust the mixture until it
would spray when cranking but still wouldn't catch.

This is getting frustrating.

Anyway, looks like I need to get it running again somehow, then add the OXS
and try and get it driveable. I also pieced together an exhaust last night
from random parts from the local parts store.

Days to build engine: 1
Days to install engine, tranny, and everything else: 2
Days to get car running once everything is in: 6
Days to get car driveable: ?
Value of information from q-list: Priceless.

Later,
Alan
