Yup, all the 80's wheels I've tried are compatible, to switch between
the newer ones (like the '88 80 in my coupe) and the earlier ones, as
you say, the balck plastic turn signal de-actuator thing must be
swapped.  Don't know when air bags came out but I'm glad I missed them.
