RE: Strange climate control activity - suggestions?
Randy,
Not sure if you've gotten any answers to this yet, but did you have your
heated seat turned on? When my heated seat worked in my '88 90q, if it
wasn't very cold outside and I had the seat set to low, after the seat was
warmed up it was as if it didn't know if it should be heating or not. It
kept cycling back and forth between on and off.
Hope this helps

Subject: Strange climate control activity - suggestions?
Listers,
Coming to work this morning in light rain my climate control head (1990
200Q) started flashing the outside air temp LED, and I could hear a relay
cycling under the left side dash at about 1 hz. The climate control was
set to ECON at the time, so no compressor action. When I set the CC head
to auto (compressor functioned ok) the relay stopped cycling as did the
flashing LED. Any suggestions as to this particular problem and/or
remedies?
TIA
Randy
