RE: snow tires

Mike...I have the same 'turbo lazer 4hr' from CT on my 5kq.  Came with
the car.  The tread is still good but the sidewalls are cracking and I
have slow leaks around the rims.  Very good tire overall. I have to
drive up a steep grade right from the start to get out onto the road,
so no chance for a run on to get the speed up.  Forward motion was
never impeded in the snow, ice, slush.  It would be interesting to
know what tire manufacturer makes these (on the side it sez made in
the US of A).  Any Canucks have info about this?
