Dirty K&N Filter!

    I got the K&N out of the airbox today.  The filter was dirty as all
hell, bugs, dirt, leave bits, and fur?!  I checked my records and then
filter went in only 22,000 miles ago.  K&N states cleaning is needed every
50k miles I believe.  Dirt roads and the country must have been the cause of
the super dirtiness of the filter.  I used the cleaning solution and the
hose on low, most of the junk came out.  There is still a fair amount of
leave bits and bugs stuck in the furthest upwards folds of the filter, guess
I should use a brush to get out once the filter dries tomorrow, then re-oil.
Anyone notice their K&N got very dirty before the recommended cleaning
mileage?
