me not believe that.

paper air filter in our cars, 20k interval, usually look nice still
unless they get "oiled" by the PCV system.

In fact, the big debris falls off them since they are dry.

Anyway, I thought the K&N's in our cars had to be cleaned every 10k...
at a minimum.  heck, the manual that comes with my suggests doing things
like changing the paper element *daily* under harsh conditions like
war.  Unless I was hallucinating.
