Re: Dirty K&N Filter!



Actually, the K&N box here in front of me says,
"Except under extremely dusty conditions, the K&N will only need servicing
every 50,000 to 100,000 miles of driving."
I don't quite think I'll be waiting that long....
Elsewhere on the box it says "flows like new for up to 50,000 miles without
cleaning", as Alexander said.
Seems K&N overestimates their product as much as Huw underestimates it. :^)
My recommendation is to know thy car, and service based upon where and how
you drive.
