noises, tire size, and manual trans/diff fluid
My summer wheels and tires are 15" speedlines with 205 60's. When it started
to get cold here in NY, in the mornings, the front wheels would make a sound
as if the diff were locked, when turning out of my parking space. It also
shifted stiffly until it warmed up. I changed the trans/diff fluid to Mobil
one, and it actually made it worse. I figured that I would just have to live
with it.
I changed back to my winter wheels, 14" with 195 60's. Problem Solved.
I know the 205 60 15's were too big, and will be changing to a 205 or 215 50
n the spring.
Can anyone offer an explanation to this ?
