i did. the problem im having is just with my console dash lights on my '86
5kT (heated seat switch lites, foglite switch lite, ciggy lighter light, cc
backlit lites, cc LED (tho the LED would light up when i turned the
headlights off, go figure?) i removed the right side console panel (it holds
the glovebox) so the glove box would flop all the way down out of the way,
then removed another piece of trim above the glovebox that holds the glovebox
light, then i removed that double relay. i carefully pried the cover off it
(take it inside where its warm - plastic cracks when it gets cold) and
inspected the solder connections that bridge the two pc boards together.
couldnt see any breaks. i shoulda re-soldered it just for the hell of it,
but i didnt. i put it all backtogether. it worked fine until once last
week, while i was driving. i flipped the headlight switch off and back on
quickly, and the console dash lights came back on, and have been ok the past
few days.....

one thing to note - this summer i had been troubleshooting my cc system, and
i drove around w/ no glovebox on the car, for a few weeks. naturally, the
glovebox light would come on whenever i turned the headlights on, because the
glovebox door wasnt there to shut the light off. during the time i had no
glovebox door to shut the light off, the console dash lights would go out
nearly all the time, and only come on briefly. since i put the glovebox
back in there, i haven't had the problem as much....

who knows....??
