4kq heatshield mounting studs?

While poking around under my driveshaft area, I remembered how many times
I have had to glue heat shielding to the body after the factory studs
simply rust to nothingness.  Does anybody know if these studs screw into
the body or are they welded?  If I could replace them, this would
definately be on the list of SS replacements....
