little orange pegs

No, the fire extinguisher mounts on the front of the seat. _Very_
common in company-owned Type 44s in Germany. Also in Benzes.

The posts are orange so you can see the mat is anchored correctly.

My reputation suffers. Yesterday evening George Harrison (not the
Beatle) and his new squeeze Paula (gorgeous woman - go to Ireland, they
have the best) dropped by for a check of their MB on its way back to AM
Cars. We drove from Roger Galvin's house to Area G - about 55 miles of
dual carriageway and good 'A' roads. At one island, I was preparing a
'party trick' (full power slide on a 35 degree left turn) when an MR2
decided to make a full circuit of the same island even though he hadn't
indicated that intention. I was left with the choice of a full braking
manoeuvre or a bit more power - the latter is more controllable in a
Torsen Type 44, so that's what I did. Upset the MR2 driver, but I was
really nowhere near him and Roger Galvin (in the passenger seat) didn't
even comment at the time.

Paula, in the following car, had to go and lie down for half an hour
when we reached the meeting. When she recovered, I was subjected to
a stream of: "YOU'RE A LUNATIC!"
