True friendship

My friend, or so I thought, spent an entire day last week earning his
money driving a new TTQ 5 speed, being followed (at about 50 feet) by a
helicopter all over the Malibu area. Did he call me? Nooooo. Has he ever
driven another Audi? I don't think so. Some friend. Obviously forgot the
need for an independent technical advisor, someone to drive the car a
bit to make sure it was OK for him to drive it. Kinda like the royal
food taster. Look for the commercial in the near future. John,
disillusioned (but basking in the warm California sunshine).
