At least with the 82 you can make a new pipe that comes straight back
form the muffler without it looking funny.

The 85-on bumpers have a cutout for the tip, which makes perfect sense
under a 4kq with it's laterally mounted muffler - but just looks dumb
(from underneath) with the coupe system.

I want to find someone who can fill that cutout (plastic welding???) so
it was "never there" and go to a straight outlet when I rebuild my
exhaust.
