What I meant to say was that the Blizzaks are really only suitable for
places where the ground is snow and/or ice covered most of the time. They
are damn scary on dry pavement at anything above 50mph, and the special
compound will wear off rapidly on dry highways.
I think the Yoko Guardex's or Hakka Q's are a much better compromise.

I wouldn't run the oringinal blizzks either, but I suspect many average car
owners would like them quite a bit...
Not everyone drive there car in a 4 wheel drift all winter (sure is fun,
though!)
