my imitation of Larry King(Audi style)
Rear fog lights are cool, I guess, but they're so asymetrical. I hate
things that are asymetrical.
Now I know what commuting is like - the other night I had to drive(DURING
rush hr.!) up 93 North(saw a TT w/ Xenon heading South), thru N. Andover on
133(TT w/ Xenon at a Mobil station), South on 95 to 128S(third TT w/ Xenon
spotted going North). Xenon is an option, right? Three TTs in 2 hours, as
many as I had seen total up till that nightmare of a drive. Even saw the
"2:00" flashing in my Trip computer...haven't seen that in a while. Livin'
in the town where you work is great, although you don't see as many cool
cars.
Why is it that I love my Audi, it's so freakin' old! ..Maybe it's because I
have no $300/month payments! But I don't think so...
And how come just when you feel like you've got a complete car, something
breaks. But you still love her!
Is it just me, or does every freakin car now have stylin cues takin directly
from Audis? Take the 2000 Eclipse, for example, and those TT fenders...or
Volvos - watching Touring Car I couldn't tell the difference from just about
any angle...or the spy photos of the new SC400 - TT A-pillar/B-pillar *and*
rear end!
Do you remember when there were only 30 some odd Audis on the road? I do.
Now everyone has one! Who let the cat out!??!
Don't get me wrong, I think the 2000 Audis are beautiful, but my '86 CGT
still looks contemporary to me.
I rented Ronin last night and I don't think the Audi is the star of the
movie like I was led to believe it would be. But I will admit it was
diesel. and no, I don't mean powered by.
I just sent away for my Q-List sticker, I hope it arrives soon!
If this weather keeps up here in New England, all these new Audi Quattro
owners will never get to experience the legendary all-wheel drive system,
cuz lord knows they won't push it in the dry! (I'm just a little jealous,
sorry, but all these people are jumpin' on our band-wagon)
All I want for Christmas is every Porsche and every Audi ever!
