Thankyou to all who answered my Newbie info.

What was confusing me is the US "Type" model info.

I am quite cool about Quattro, Turbo, Sports, and the
European models.... 

Looking forward to picking up the S2 today and
blasting up to German on the auotbahn ...   <vbg>

Have to take it easy though because it's winter and
for insurance MUST fit winter tyres... so limited to
180km/h...

(Can't wait for summer!! :-> )
