RE: Driveshaft bearing '88 80Q

In 1988, the 80q and 90q (5 cyl) were basically the same car.  Only trim
differences.  My '88 80q has an '88 90q transmission in it, if that helps
any.

I also have the Bentley manuals for the 80/90, I can look up that part if
you like, and see it they mention any differences.

The center driveshaft bearing on my '88 80 Q went south. I have dug thru
the archives and this problem has been brought up several times before
and our dear Audi has only one solution ..... buy a new driveshaft! I
have found the BMW
part # 26121209532 that will work on the 90 Audi. What will work with a
80 Q?
I am just looking for the center bearing replacement# I know there are
shops that rebuild the whole driveshaft but I want to do it myself.
