I have NEVER seen an Evo for $25. At least not here in the USA. THey are
$80 imported and the only other ones that are here are for Rallying. But
if I did, then would I would concede that that would be a very good
match. ANd a prepped Evo would blow it away. But not a stock one. For
$25,000 you can build a 4ktq that will give any Evo or 911tt a run for its
money. Ultimately the newer cars might win out due to newer Aerodynamics,
drivetrains, etc. But for a pure track car..well...I think it would be
fun to find out. We'll see how Virginia City is this year. Maybe an Evo
will be there. I bet Alex will be with his 4ktq.

Well, Yea. But thats not the discussion. None of us are that
caliber of driver. Even though we might dream of it at night. :-)

Yes, and this guy usually takes it pretty easy doing ONLY 130mph
at the end of a straight that modded 5ktq's etc are doing MAYBE 115 at the
end of if that. But when Alex went out agains him, well, like anyone,
cant get beaten by the lesser car. They got into it a bit.
Look, sure, an $80 car might be a little better, and more
reliable. But for $8,000 to $20,000 for a 200-400hp AWD performance car
that can embarass M3's, 911's, Ferrari's, etc (esp with the right
driver) its a great value. Thats all us 4ktq fanatics are saying. Its
NOT the best car int he world. Far from it. But for the price its just
about impossible to beat. And for those of us that like wrenching, its SO
much more enjoyable to do it yourself and then go beat a 911 around the
track for 1/2 the price. Or at least match it. Thats all we are saying.

Yes, they are great cars. BUt IN THE USA a new Evo (v or whatever
it is I dont keep track) is $80. Out of LA. I havent seen any other
importers but thats what they charge. THats a Bone Stock Evo. Great
car, but thats a LOT of money. I can take an S4 and chip it and be in
that power department for less than that.

Exactly. BUt this thread was never about luggage capacity.
ANyhow, seems we agree but are hashing it anyhow. So enought from me.
