Mysterious Clunk Source 88 80Q

Finally had an opportunity to have my 88 80Q on a lift
and with my mech proceeded to do some inspections. I
found a tiny hole in my center resonator but also was
lucky enough to find the source of the clunk that seems
to come from my driveshaft when on driving slowly on a
uneven concrete surface at low speeds or when shifting
from 1st to second and just as you let your foot of the
clutch there goes the clunk.

I'm not so sure about the proper description but I could
not find the part I saw in the family album. I presume
that its the center diff that runs between the front
and the rear diffs. The part that connects into the front
diff (has about 6 12 point trisquare heads) is the source
of the clunk. Merely shaking the center diff will produce
a low sounding sound similar to what I hear when driving off.
A look at the and shove at the transmission mounts revealed
good mounts.

My mech. asked me to research on the net about this
clunking joint, he could investigate but it'd cost me some
$$ after all this was a freebie (only at low speeds < 5 mph
that only occurs once ). The car drives good, no vibration,
but just that initial clunk.

Also we tried to diagnose a sound of rushing air that seemed
to make it look like there was a vaccum leak but could not
find any, besides all hoses and connectors that were leaking
were replaced. Does anyone know what could be the source of
this swishy sound. It seems to come towards the back of
the intake manifold where the lower ISV hose connects to.
It sounded as though the car might be running lean.

Any ideas particularly on the clunk would be very much appreciated.
Thanks
