Re: 5KT starting problems

Your problem sounds like a classic cold start valve
problem. I added a beeper to my cold start injector
on my 1990 Audi 100. The cold start should be
adding fuel (beeping) when 40 deg and colderr.

Mine 1990 Audi 100 also has a starting problem
(lots of cranking required). I discovered someting
today. My fuel pump appears to run intermittantly.
It normally runs for about 3 seconds when the
key is swithced on before cranking. Then when
cranked it cranks pretty good.

However, sometimes the pump doesn't run when the
ignition switch is turned on. When this happens
it usually cranks for a long time before starting.
