   How would the cold start valve figure into the warm start problem?

'Cuz the "Cold Start Injector" is used in hot-starting as well, at
least on some older cars. Theory is that a hot engine can lead to
vapor-lock, and thus the engine needs to be goosed a bit with some
extra burn juice.

First implementation was the "Hot Start Pulse Relay" which every
three seconds or so would go CLICKclack and pulse the Cold Start
Injector for a brief spurt of gas, just in case it might be needed.
