I've been here too. I cleaned the mating surfaces and o-ring grooves very
carefully/thoroughly. Then used 12" mill bastard file to make the surfaces
flat as well as slightly less deep. Next was Permatex Super Blue (very, very
little,don't know that it even helps but I felt better about it) and bolt it
together. Did this in early spring and still no leakage. This only took
time. No money. I couldn't see spending $500-700. either. Someone must make
these o-rings for Audi? Who?
