Driveline Center Bearing '88 80Q

After digging through the archives and many posts I have acquired a new
center Bearing for my '88 80Q.  Before I tear my drivehaft out I have
one question......
On a Audi 80, once everything is disassembled, what does it take to
remove the old bearing from the driveshaft? There have been posts about
the 4000Q's coming off easy, but some notes about the later ones being
'bonded' onto the driveshaft, Someone talked about 'grinding' off the
bearing!
>From my replacement part, it looks like a slip/press fit that can be
pulled off.
If you have BTDT, please let me know what I am into.
