I think Chris may have misinterpreted DeWitt's intent, as I initially did
as well. Although the Montana bro's use of the expression "hounding Audi"
appeared to carry a perjorative tone,  I concluded DeWitt was just trying
to say that we shouldn't wait to have Audi or Bose respond before we do
something to reduce our risk. I believe he stated that pressure on Audi
should continue. As I recently posted,  merely unplugging the damn things
is quick, cost-free and eliminates the risk.

I agree with Chris that for most owners, replacing these speakers isn't in
the same category as the maintenance of shocks and springs. And some of us
even like the Bose sound. :)
