200T Door won't unlock from inside

I just removed the door panel on my 200T for the first time last week. Had
to remove the Bose speaker/amp to give it to the dealer exchange.

I thought I had everything back the way I found it, but I had ALOT of
trouble reattatching the cable to the door handle. ALOT! But I finnally did
it and the door opens from the inside. However, I've just discovered that
when you lock with the key or the pole inside, there is a fairly loud
snapping noise. Then after you unlock the door handle inside still behaves
as if it is locked. But yet you can reach around outside and open it.

What did I break or forget to replace?
