91 200q Vs. S4 - Results!

Driving back from Indiania the other day on I-294 North I see a green S4
(92-94 type). I get up behind the guy then pass him. A lot of traffic, we
are just driving a long. A TOLL BOOTH coming up! So we get up there and the
guy know what is going on. I wait for him as I go through the booth, he is
in the one next to me.

I wait until both gates are open and launch it! Had a friend in the car with
a ton of stuff in the trunk. Get a great launch and the S4 follows. I got
him through first gear a little, probably because I got the better launch.
Then through first to second (7200 RPM), then second to third, which took me
about 250 msec to shift! by the time we started to back off, I was about 1
car length in front of him -- we both had *hit eatin' grins on our face!

What are the chances of that happening again? A S4 and 91 200q going through
a toll booth at the same time with both parties willing.....

btw - I also ate a TT the other day on Lake Shore drive going on the souther
"s" - what a rush....
