I'd say fuel pump.  Similar thing happened to my old 5KT.  I seem to remember
that I disconnected one of the delivery lines and turned on the ignition
(carefully!) to verify that there was no fuel being delivered.

Replacing the fuel pump is not that difficult ... it took me about an hour and
a half.
