Again, I can jump in here to answer the Italian-car-related questions. ;^)

The car in Rendezvous is a Ferrari (275, AFAIK) according to most credible sources.

There is another Ferrari/camcorder story of lore that I will relate to those who
have not heard it:
A gentleman was trying to sell a recent, high-end (read: fast) Ferrari and an
interested buyer disputed his claims of the top end. Not wanting to be all-talk, the
guy mounts a camcorder between the seats to give a view of the dash and the road in
front of it. We see the car accelerating up to 170, 180, whatever it was, flashing
by other cars as if they were speeding in reverse around him. The tape was mailed to
the prospective buyer and our Ferrari-owning enthusiast unexpectedly met the local
authorities the day after it was received - thanks to the indisputable evidence
procured by the undercover cop posing as the buyer.
This story was told and the video shown on one or more of those reality-shows on Fox
- "World's Scariest Drivers" or something like that. That's entertainment...!

The only way _my_ ItalCars will hit speeds like that is after they leave the top of
the cliff!
