Custom SS exhaust, 83 CGT

Merry Christmas everyone!

I took my loud CGT to the exhaust shop 2 days ago.  They made a 2-1/2" 
custom stainless exhaust from my 4kq downpipe on back.  Basically I printed 
out the picture of Huw's exhaust

and told 'em to make me one just like it.  I supplied a stainless borla 
turbo muffler, they supplied the cat, 14 ga. pipe, and OXS nut. (Damn, that 
pipe is heavy! If you're worried about weight, go for the 16 guage).  Anyway 
3 hours and less than $300 later (labor and mat'ls) the CGT was done.  I 
never thought an Audi could sound so good!  I'd say this was a good deal 
considering that I've seen regular carbon steel exhaust going almost the 
same price; so if you're looking for a new exhaust I'd wouldn't throw out 
the idea of having a custom one made for you.
