A4...to turbo or not to turbo

Audi Friends,

It has been quite a while since my last post here. By now, Most of you  have probably been out of your 200q's for some time. Me  I just cant let it go. But the   88 5K ...... Now that's another story.  IM  really falling in love with the A4 style.....Yeah...its takes me some time to  catch on..... 

 

OK enough babbling.

The real question is since I have been spoiled by the power the 200 with mods gives me is, will I be totally disappointed by the A4 2.8 or should I be looking at the 1.8T and adding some boost mods???  Really the New S4 is out of the question.Older style S4's cost way to much to Buy and repair.

 

I would  Like to hear from some 1.8T owners that have done mods and had  turbo cars with mods before. How has the car has responded to the mods and weather its worth it, or to just get the 2.8.

Also how much should I be looking to pay for a 1.8T. Standard of course.
