I like need for speed also but the best game I have driven over all is
Sports Car Gt by Electronic arts.  It makes you purchase the car and
modifications.  You progress up the gt scale as your performance improves.
The only criticism I have is that it can get too easy in the early rounds.
The car control is amazing and they even have several awd cars including an
awd M3.  It is much faster than the rwd car btw.  Microprose grand prix 2 is
probably the best for car tuning.  It is amazing how fast the game is.
Graphics are fair but the overall speed makes the experience manic.  My
heart is literally racing after driving that game.  More than any other.  I
think they are coming out with a grand prix 3 soon.

ask.
