vaccuum line behind computer
Vehicle is a 87 5KCSTq:
Under boost, I have a leak I can hear in the passenger footwell. I thought
it was the pressure line going to the computer from the manifold, but I
unhooked and blocked it and I can still hear a leak under boost. Behind the
computer there is a green solid vacuum line going into the body. I think
this is where the leak is. I thought that this was the vacuum line going
into the passenger door for the power locks, but that shouldn't leak at
boost (not even connected to the manifold). My next guess is it runs to the
gas tank as part of the carbon canister setup, and my shut-off valve for the
carbon canister is not closing, causing pressure (boost) to be applied to
this line. Any comments/ideas?
