suddenly no starter?
Here's my prob. Suddenly, and w/ no prior suggestion, the starter on my '90
100q just stops respondoing to the key being turned. All the cables from the
battery onward are clean and tight. There's no clicking sound when the key is
turned. The dash lights up normally, I turn the key, the dash dims,
and.........nothing. No sound whatsoever. I checked all the connections at
the starter and they seem clean and tight. Could this possibly be a faulty
relay? If so, which relay is the starter relay, and can it be temporarily
jumped (the relay, not the car). And yes the car will start by jumping,
though not my favorite method. Any suggestions?
