Several years ago, I had 129 MPH displayed on my digital dash of my '86 CGT.
No lie...of course I was somewhere in New Hampshire and had been going down
a big hill with it floored for several miles.  And I don't think my 195/60
tire mod(from 185/60) had much to do with it, but I'll let the physics
teacher solve that one. I regularly check my speedo against those moveable
radar stations used by police that post your speed for all to see - aren't
those fun! - and it's almost always digital number on dash = digital number
on radar. ...but I think as I go faster, the discrepency increases...true?
So maybe I was only goin' 127 ...or maybe I was goin' 137  ...either way *I*
had both hands on the wheel at the 3 and 9 positions!  Which brings me to my
next question: Why are there hands missin' from almost every pic?  Are these
guys taking the pics while doin' 150!?!
