I agree with Huw's assessment.  No click means solenoid switch isn't 
switching.  If you have 12v at the solenoid, it's bad.  If it clicks, but no 
crank, then starter armature is seized or gummed up, or battery is weak, or 
little drive gear that solenoid shuttles back and forth is gummed up.  On the 
bright side, these Bosch starters seem to be about the longest lived I've 
ever come across.
